Last Saturday, we took an early day trip to Rome! We were able to see the Colusseum, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon! We walked about 15 miles this day which allowed us to hit all the big monuments despite the busy crowds. We tried Italian McDonald’s as well because I needed a place to charge my phone. In a true American fashion I had a double bacon cheeseburger and cheesy bacon fries, can confirm that Italian McDonald’s is better than American.

We left our apartment at about 8am and didn’t get back until midnight with an almost 4 hour train ride each way. Rome in a day is not for the weak, but I am fortunate to see the great sights we saw.
